Who Has Had the Greatest Influence on Your Life and Why?

A lot of us remember our mother, and for good reason.
Should someone pose the same question to me that I have asked of you, I would never hesitate to talk about the most important person in my life, my mother.
Sports
I had two fathers, one that left when I was only a month old (he was not sure I was his son, and so he divorced my mom), and one that arrived when I was 5 (he had a 40-word vocabulary, 20 of which were cuss words). I did not realize until much later that he did not know several foreign languages (he actually did know cuss words in at least three languages).
Grapes, Nuts, and Your Dogs Health – Foods that Fido should Avoid

“Magoo was a big, playful Labrador retriever who often got himself into sticky situations…”
So begins a story in the latest report from the ASPCA on foods that may be toxic to dogs. It turns out that Magoo got into the pantry and snagged himself about a pound of raisins. He ate the whole thing, of course.
Nutrition
The ASPCA never mentions Magoo’s fate. But they do tell us that as little as a handful of raisins can impair a dogs health and has been fatal for some. Ditto for the grape.

Disastrous Surgery to Natural Beauty – Marie Osmond’s Plastic Surgery
Posted on January 22, 2012
Plastic surgery or cosmetic surgery as several people know it, is a medical facility which enables flawless beauty to those who are willing to go under the knife and achieve beauty artificially. Last year, “Dancing with the stars” celebrity Marie Osmond’s plastic surgery made headlines over American tabloids because it was a case of plastic surgery going wrong. Now, the hard-pressed world of Hollywood, with all its glitz, glamour, competition and fast-paced life in general puts a lot of pressure on the celebrities we read about in the papers daily. As a result of this life, film stars of Hollywood or still television celebrities for that matter tend to lose their beauty in a short span of time. Careers which were traditionally many years long are shortened and the stars have no place to go. All this is chiefly because they lose their charm and beauty to the stress and action of their lives. It would be therefore extremely unfair on our part to blame them and say that they are wrong when they strive to achieve perfect beauty artificially. Ultimately, the name of the game for Hollywood is how attractive or beautiful a film star is.
Vitamins For Hair Loss – Can Vitamins Help With Hair Re-Growth?
Posted on January 20, 2012
The subject of vitamins for hair loss is a contentious topic with many detractors. A recent article circulation on the internet made a very convincing argument stating that anyone who believed vitamins were helpful for hair loss was an idiot. Most other articles and information on the subject attempt to make a case that vitamin supplementation is totally useless in re-growing hair. From a very narrow perspective the research supports them and if you are bald chances are taking a multivitamin is not going to cause your long lost hair follicles to spring back to life. Nevertheless, from a broader perspective it is not out of the question that taking certain vitamins for hair loss will not only make your hair healthier in appearance but could benefit growth. Let’s look at a couple of examples.
How to Remove Hard Thick Skin From Under The Soles Of Your Feet? Causes Symptoms & Callus Treatment
Posted on January 19, 2012
Have you got a problem with hard thick skin under the heels of your feet? Not only is pain a likely symptom if the skin is really thick, so is frustration. It can be a seriously annoying condition because no sooner do you get rid of hard crusty layers that have built up, the problem is back. If you have hard skin under the soles of your feet then it is less likely to return as quickly if it’s removed “properly”.
Why when no one can see the feet do they need to be cared for regular? Just because the feet sit snug inside shoes and not as often visible like other body parts, is more the reason to keep an eye on them.
