On A Muscle Gain Diet When Should I Eat?

Muscle gain diets requires massive calories to be consumed on a daily basis. Now it is common knowledge that skinny guys need to consume lots of calories, but a well balanced diet must also be included for other important muscle building nutrition.

Now lets start with a skinny guy getting up out of bed in the morning. The breakfast table is the first place that the hard gainer needs to visit! It is by far the most important meal of the day. This is where the energy comes from and makes mental and emotional processes much smoother.

Hardgainers must eat more frequently because in only a couple of hours it is time for another meal. This is a good time for fruit or a pre-lunch meal. There are many options here; however one must intake the calories to stay on their muscle gain diet as without that energy your muscles will not be given the chance to grow.

Two hours later it is now time for lunch. It may seem impossible to eat this much food, however it is achievable. Introducing other items such as protein shakes or meal replacements will help you manage all these calories. Remember you must take in this additional food to gain the muscles that you need.

Now there is the after lunch meal! How about some another shake or protein supplement? Just do not give into pressure for junk foods such as chips or candy, these are not meals ” they are sugars and fats of the worst sort. These foods or make shift meals will only add to your waist line, not your biceps!

A couple hours later it is now time for dinner. This is where you need to introduce meats and vegetables. It is acceptable at this point to have a sweet drink if desired. It will give you a little energy boost, and you may need it since many exercise after this meal, a little extra wont hurt! Also at this meal try and get in the balance of nutrition that you might have missed earlier in the day.

When on a muscle gain diet, skinny guys need to eat every couple of hours to make sure that their energy is kept up as well as metabolism fueled. If you wait too long between meals your high metabolism will churn through that energy and start cannibalizing your body including your muscles for more energy!. It is vital that these calories be taken in, but it needs to be the correct calories and spread throughout the day!
