Are there any Benefits of Olive Leaf Extract for Skin?
Posted on December 13, 2009
Let me tell you a quick story. The benefits of olive leaf extract may include a reduced risk of heart disease and certain kinds of cancer. The oils are healthy, as well, but are pressed from the fruits and the pits. They are not made from the leaves.
So, there are different nutritional components of each. Both the oils and the leaves have some antioxidant activity. The olive leaf benefit is most often related to that antioxidant activity.
The oils contain essential polyunsaturated fatty acids, known as omega-3s. Increasing your omega-3 intake, while reducing your intake of saturated, trans-fats and omega-6 fatty acids may reduce your risk of heart disease and cancer.

Resveratrol ultra is a natural anti oxidant formed in the stem cells of the grapes and berries. Resveratrol was, firstly, discovered in the roots of Japanese knotweed. It is formed in the response to attack by bacteria or fungi. Resveratrol is the most potent anti inflammatory, anti cancer , and anti aging an agent discovered till date. Resveratrol is found in the skin of red grapes and is a constituent of red wine as well. A total amount of Resveratrol per serving of wine (a 5-ounce glass) for white wines is found to be between 0.01 to 0.27 mg.
Resveratrol ultra is geometric isomeric compound and exists as two isomers: cis (Z) and trans (E), The trans form can undergo isomerization to the cis form when exposed to ultraviolet irradiation.
