Anti-Aging, All Natural Tips To Help You Keep Your Mental And Physical Capabilities As You Age

Getting older then you like to admit? I know I am, the years just keep marching by, and I am beginning to feel their effects (I’m 56 at the time of this writing!) I also know I’m able to do things that many people my age would find difficult or impossible. I’ve always taken good care of my body and mind and so still enjoy good health and a sharp mind. By just living a healthy lifestyle you’ll be taking positive steps toward not only prolonging your life, but improving the quality of your life as well. Here’s a short list of healthy choices that can be a step in the right direction:

Anti Aging

Drink Plenty of Water Everyday-Water is more important to your health than you may know! Water helps your body eliminate wastes, helps keep you regular, contributes to healthy skin, promotes healthy blood flow, and metabolize body fat.

Exercise Daily-Getting a daily dose of exercise, can be one of the most important decisions you can make toward living a healthy lifestyle, it not only can make you feel years younger, but can make you look years younger to boot! Exercise is not only good for the heart and body, but will help your mental function as well.

Keep Your Weight Under Control-You really do need to control your weight! Obesity is of epidemic proportions in this country (USA) as well as much of the rest of the world. Controlling your weight goes hand in hand with getting the proper amount of exercise, do the latter and the former will take care of itself (although restricting your caloric intake may be a good idea.)

Eat Healthy Foods-You only have so many calories you should consume daily, so make sure to make the right food choices and make those calories count towards your healthy lifestyle.

Don’t Smoke, or Drink Alcohol To Excess-A few drinks may actually be good for you, just don’t over-do it. Tobacco, on the other hand is bad for you period!

Get Plenty of Sleep-Get plenty of rest, especially as you get older. To older you get the longer it takes your body to rebuild-give you body the time it needs.

Exercise Your Mind-Do puzzles, play games, read, interact with other people, volunteer yourself (put all that wisdom to good use!)

Be Sure To Get Regular Check-ups!-Very Important! Go see your family doctor as often as he needs to see you. Finding out any health problems early is always the best choice.
Conclusion Visit my site for information on the vitamins and minerals and herbs that are known to be helpful in slowing down the effects of aging. Take care of your body and mind (they’re the only ones you’re likely to get;o). The saying “you are what you think” is so very true, try to “think” young, keep an open mind, be curious, be creative, enjoy your life, stay positive!

Anti-Aging – How to Slow Down the Aging Process Naturally

Growing old is inevitable, but who says you have to go along with it? Grow old gracefully…nah. Become elderly…I don’t think so. I’m going to fight it all the way! By taking good care of my mind and body I’m going to slooow the effects of aging as much as possible.
There are many adventures in life that are part of recreation. Swimming is one of them. It may help us in many ways like saving life of others. But its time of learning is never early and it won’t be late ever.

What would the best age for a child to start learn how to swim? The best age for a child to start learning swimming is his early childhood life. It all depends on parents whether they allow their children to stay in touch with water so that they may have love for it for their whole lives. That is a perfect exercise for a child to increase his muscle strength and make them strong enough so that any limitation in the growth of a child during his learning process might overcome.

Swimming

Why parents are not comfortable with the learning of first swimming lesson to their child? One reason can be the swimming pool environment. To ensure that the child is capable of learning the first swimming lesson parents have to do some extra efforts to prepare their child for this purpose.

How parents help their child to prepare for the swimming? One step would be to make child feel during bathing that he has to play with water and during this play he should have to learn how to tackle it.

What steps should be taken by parents so that their child won’t hesitate or afraid of water? One step can be by putting soap-free water on the face of child and other parts of body like ears and eyes so that he starts playing with them and associate different toys to them so that they have having fun during their play in water.

What should parents do during the summer season? Is this an ideal season for their child to learn and follow things? The answer to all such questions is, yes. This is an ideal season for a child to build up his mind level so that he can have fun in his life and excited to learn different swimming techniques during his learning process.

Many experienced experts have schools and swimming teaching institutions where new children are adopted to teach the swimming lessons. There are so many experts having a lot experience of teaching the children with the new methods they devised for the new comers.

What makes the parents comfortable is the piece of happiness which they would feel after their child becomes a good swimmer like fish?

Swimming Lesson – A Beneficial Recreation

Writing about Amazing Cover Letters review and My Airfare Secrets scam has always given me a great feeling.

I sometimes get emails from folks who have had a positive ANA (antinuclear antibody test) from blood work or suspect that they have an autoimmune disorder which has contributed to changes in their hair including loss, shedding, thinning, and changes in color and texture. In the following article, I’ll go over some well know and not so well known autoimmune conditions that commonly contribute to hair changes or loss and tell you how they often affect the hair and scalp.

Alopecia Areata (AA): When most people think of autoimmune hair loss, AA is typically the first thing that comes to their mind. This condition is known as the reason that Princess Caroline of Monaco temporarily lost her hair. The condition most often presents itself in hair loss that is defined by bald spots that are round and patchy. Often, the hair around the patches is totally normal, but the round patchy areas are smooth and sometimes completely bald.

Hair Loss

Another condition that goes hand in hand with AA is alopecia areata universalis. In this case, you will often have hair loss over the entire body including the whole head (often total baldness) as well as other areas like eye lashes, eyebrows, pubic hair, the beard area, the under arms, etc. Sometimes when this process is ongoing, you’ll see “exclamation point hairs.” These are hairs that are broken off and are tapered so that they are much narrower the closer you get the scalp. They flare out on the broken ends.

There is a lot of controversy over what actually causes AA. Most agree that it is autoimmune in nature, but some believe that it is aggravated by stress, allergies, or viruses. Treatment is often oral steroids, corticosteroid injections, or experimental stimulation of the scalp with herbs like rosemary and lavender.

Lupus And Hair Loss: Probably the second most common autoimmune disorder known to cause hair issues is lupus or systemic lupus erythematosus. Often folks with this condition are affected with a malar rash that can affect the scalp, and cause scarring which can lead to temporary or permanent hair loss. You can see exclamation point hairs with lupus as well.

Thyroid Issues: Graves Disease And Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis: Many people who think of thyroid issues and hair loss are aware of hypothyroidism, but many are not aware of the autoimmune thyroid issues. The first of these is graves disease where you will generally see the hair become much more fine and you’ll see more pronounced loss. The texture just becomes a lot more limp and unable to hold a style. The stands can become lighter in color also. The opposite is true with Hashimoto’s. In this instance, the hair becomes very coarse and dry, but hair loss is accelerated none the less.

Less Well Known Autoimmune Disorders That May Affect The Hair: In truth, almost any disorder that has an autoimmune component can affect the hair or cause thinning, shedding, or loss. This includes things like rheumatoid arthritis, intestinal cystitis and fibromyalgia, (although not every one agrees that these two fall into this category), celiac disease, and guillain-barre syndrome, to name only a few.

Inflammation Lessening Drugs And Hair Loss: Many of the drugs that are given for these disorders are given to reduce the inflammatory process and this actually seems to fit quite nicely with hair loss treatment, as there is almost always an inflammation component to it. However, many of the steroids often used have the unfortunate side effect of more shedding or loss, so often the patient is left wondering if it’s the disorder that is affecting their hair or the medication that is being used to treat it. It’s often prudent to focus on a healthy diet and healthy, natural ways to support a healthy scalp and reduce inflammation while stimulating healthy regrowth.

What Kind of Autoimmune Disorders Can Cause Hair Loss, Shedding, Or Thinning? I’ll Tell You

How do I know all of this? Because I lived it. Automimmune disorders were just one of the many things I had to look at to determine the reason for my hair loss. It was a long, hard, frustrating journey which all but wrecked my self esteem but I finally found something that helped quite a bit. You can read my very personal story at http://stop-hair-loss-in-women.com/

There are hundreds of incurable diseases plaguing the world today, if not more. Two of the biggest and probably more well known are, Cancer and AIDS.

Over the last 10 and a 1/2 years, roughly 20 billion dollars or more has been attributed to AIDS research. Cancer research gets a few billion themselves each year, roughly 5 billion.

Cancer

Treatment for both AIDS and Cancer can cost ,000 and likely more, annually. An estimated 3 million people die because of AIDS a year, and 8 million people die from Cancer each year.

Between these two diseases, you can see how much money is coming in from them. Both money being spent on research, and the current treatment costs, make for very large pockets. So, what if all of a sudden, with all that money, time and research, they would finally discover a cure for either one, or both? Hypothetically of course.

Well, with a cure, you wouldn’t need to research it anymore, so there goes the billions spent each year on research. Also, the treatment would go down by at least a 3rd in total costs. With such drastic losses in monetary income for these two, there are only 2 directions they could go in order to maintain the flow of finances, either:

A.) Jack up the prices of all the appointments, X-rays and treatment to cover the cost, or

B.) They would have to cut jobs, and trim budgets.

But, alas, there hasn’t been any cure as of yet that has been accepted. But with such harsh drawbacks from finding a cure, would they even release it to the public if they did discover one? Even if they implemented solution ‘A’, they would still likely have to use ‘B’ to some extent, and that could potentially mean a lot of jobs cut, which would lead further into the unemployment problem we are currently facing today.

It almost sounds fair, when you think of all the jobs lost alone across the country and elsewhere from finding a cure, to go ahead and suppress it. A job lost means an empty table, no food for the kids, and possibly no roof over their heads for very much longer. This would be very sad indeed.

But, if you where to compare, Jobs lost vs. Lives lost, one easily overshadows the other. Though no food on the table and maybe no roof is sad, a job is replaceable, a life is not. Worse yet would be the life lost of a loved one to AIDS, only to find out a cure did exist, but was suppressed.

Of course this is all hypothetical, right? The world isn’t that sad. People always have the best of intentions, and always lend a helping hand. If a cure was to be discovered, it would quickly be put into every hospital, to save as many of those 8 million lives from cancer, or 3 million lives from AIDS, as they could. Despite the drop in income, and the jobs lost… Wouldn’t they?

A Patient Cured is a Customer Lost.

…what if it wasn’t hypothetical?

Cancer and AIDS – Treatment Vs A Cure

Crux Theory has more on this subject, including video of a device said to Cure AIDS and the reasons why it was suppressed…

In New Zealand there are round about 58,000 privately owned swimming pools. The law requires pools to be fenced off. Before 1987 toddler drownings were more common than today.

However 71 toddlers were still drowned as late as 2003 mostly in pools that were not fenced properly. These tragedies could have been easily avoided.Negligence in most of these cases was to blame.Swimming pools should be happy places.Young children are drawn to the water.

Swimming

Some countries allow a special net to be fixed over the pool instead of a more costly fence.

Local councils now monitor swimming pools in their regions; the pool owner has the obligation of making sure all the criteria are met to comply with the strict guide lines that have been set out. One of them is a minimum height of 1.2 metres.

With all the modern materials available today there is a vast choice of fence designs. From a modern to a more traditional type. And for those with smaller budget the designer can take that into consideration.

Any setting can have a customised fence made to suit it perfectly. Creating whatever atmosphere is desired.

There are many companies dealing in fences, it’s advisable to shop around and get quotes, being exposed to the weather there will be a fair amount of wear and tear, so the best companies will offer a guarantee on the fence.

There is a general trend now to go for the reinforced glass balustrade. They are longer lasting, easily cleaned and look neater.

 Swimming Pools in New Zealand

Ron ter Huurne is director of Fence World. The company has developed a reputation for designing, constructing and installing superior quality fences and gates. They’re especially known for their pool fences. Over the years Fence World has manufactured hundreds of swimming pool fences and gates.

Unfortunately, stage IV esophageal cancer prognosis is found to be poor. As it is a non curable but treatable kind of stage in cancer. Normally patients of stage IV esophageal cancer are treated using palliative chemotherapy as it extends the patient’s survival to some extent.

Various factors can affect stage IV esophageal cancer prognosis (recovery chances) and various treatment choices. The recovery chances or prognosis depends if it involves esophagus as a whole or particular part of the esophagus alone, the tumor size and the overall general health of the patient. When detected at the earlier stage it can be treated easily but the symptoms are only visible at the later stages. Treating them effectively is very remote that curing it is very rare.

Cancer

Esophageal cancer spreads in a person’s body in various ways. Cancer spreads via tissues invading the normal tissues surrounding esophagus, via lymph system of the body occupying the body’s lymph system and then traveling via the lymph vessels into various parts of the body and via blood as cancer invades the capillaries and veins, traveling via blood to various body parts.

Metastasis is said to be a process which happens when the cancerous cells detach from the original or primary tumor traveling via blood or lymph to various body parts. Metastatic tumor is normally of the same kind as primary tumor. Only the disease is said to be metastatic but the type of cancer is not.

Treatment of Stage IV esophageal cancer can include esophageal stent placement as in palliative therapy for enhancing prognosis by enhancing the patient’s life quality and relieving the symptoms. Internal radiation therapy or external radiation therapy in the form of palliative therapy is used for both enhancing the patient’s life quality and for relieving the symptoms.
It’s a sad fact that even the most expensive skin creams being sold today do not always work very well and some could be downright dangerous to the long term condition of your skin. Just because one product is sold with a high price tag through a department store does not mean it is any better than similar skin care products being sold on the dusty shelves of a dollar store.

The following tips will help steer you in the right direction when it comes to picking skin care products that will fight the signs of aging and leave you looking fresh and youthful.

Skin Care

Go Natural

You always want to make sure that the ingredients in your skin care products are all natural. Natural ingredients will offer more potent benefits for your skin while reducing the risk of allergic reactions, skin irritation, and serious pore clogging.

It is important to do some research online to find the most natural skin creams before making a purchase. This will allow you to look up different ingredients and determine which ones are really natural and which ones may cause problems for your skin.

Watch the Oil

Many skin creams contain oil of some variety, but you have to make sure these are natural oils that will not clog your pores. It used to be recommended that those with oily skin only use skin care products that did not have any oil, but that has changed. It has been proven that light, natural oils such as avocado oil can be used to nourish the face without causing excess oil. Stay away from heavier oils even if they are natural. They can cause trouble inside your pores.

Anit-Aging Properties

Look for skin creams that have a lot of ingredients proven to fight the common signs of aging and keep your skin youthful and tight. You should look both for ingredients which encourage the natural production of collagen inside your skin and those which increase production of elastin. Some things to look for include: phytessence wakame, keratin and natural antioxidants.

The Collagen Trap

Some people spend a lot of time searching for skin care products that list collagen on the label, but note right now that this is a waste of your time! You want natural skin creams that will stimulate your body’s natural production of collagen, not collagen itself. This is because collagen is not effectively absorbed from the outer layers of your skin. It is something that needs to be produced from within.

You have to do your research online and discover what is actually in those pretty bottles. You may be quite surprised to find that some of the highest priced, biggest name brand products are the worst when it comes to ingredients!

Best Skin Care Cream – Which is Best?

All skin creams [http://www.skincreamsinfo.com] claim to be the absolute best on the market, so there is no way you can walk into any type of store and pick out the best skin care products for your face.

Acne is caused by an overproduction of sebum, a substance which is produced by your Sebaceous glands. Your Sebaceous glands can be found on your face, upper neck and chest. Sebum production increases during adolescence and starts to wean around the age of 20. This does not mean that acne vanishes at age 20. Infact, acne, which is usually thought of as a teenager’s skin care issue affects adults both female and male.

Treating acne requires patience, finding the right acne treatment products and sticking to a good treatment routine. Here are tips on what to do and what to avoid.

Acne Care

Dos

Cleanse. Fighting acne requires you to establish a daily routine of gently washing your face with a good acne skin cleanser. Acne skin cleansers will get rid of the accumulated makeup, oils, sweat and dirt on your face. There are skin cleansers for various types of skin types: oily, dry, sensitive and normal. You will want to buy the correct product for your skin type.

Exfoliate. Exfoliation allows your new skin cells to shine through by getting rid of your dead skin cells. The result is a new replenished look that helps give your skin a youthful, fresh appearance. It is advisable to exfoliate more during the summer months since you tend to sweat more.

Moisturize even if you have oily skin. Choose the right moisturizer for your skin type.

Use “noncomedogenic” comestics and skin care products. These products do not clog your pores.

Consult a day spa esthetician or dermatologist for expert advice, if your problem gets consistently worse.

Don’ts

Do not overwash your face.

Do not scrub or rub your skin excessively.

Never pop, squeeze or pick at acne. This spreads the inflammation and makes things worse.

If you find that certain foods aggravate your acne, try to avoid them (e.g. oily foods such as fast food).

Avoid excessive sun, tanning booths and sun lamps.

Avoid excessive sweating or humidity.

Visit your local day spa esthetician for more skin care tips.

More and more attention is given to skin care nowadays, and this applies to both men and women. Skin care products for men used to be considered taboo, but in recent years it has become acceptable that men want to look after their skin too and are now able to purchase skin care products without suspicion. The beauty industry is obviously aware of this trend, have used it to their advantage and so the range of beauty products for men has become extensive. But, the question here is, does a man’s skin actually need different products?

Apparently, the answer is ‘no’. According to leading beauticians, there is no difference between skin care products for men and women. In fact, the composition of these products (in most cases) is basically the same. The skin care products for men will of course get a masculine fragrance, together with manly packaging, but other than that… no difference.

Skin Care

However, bad news for women – apparently there is a difference in skin – men get fewer wrinkles. Results of a recent survey show that the moisture content of male skin is higher, due to the fact that it is usually oilier and therefore men get far less wrinkles than women.

The next question is? Are expensive skin care products more effective than the cheaper brands? Apparently, again, the answer is ‘no’ – expensive is not always synonymous with better. There are good and bad products out there, but when assessing them on quality versus price, other factors have to be taken into consideration such as brand name, quality of packaging, ingredients and the possible presence of chemical preservatives.

People must decide for themselves what they consider to be important in a skin care product and this will naturally differ from person to person. Some like the luxury of a brand name, while for others it’s the effectiveness of the product that counts. Products from a supermarket shelf are definitely not necessarily inferior to those high-end name brands. What really counts is that we have a product that will clean and hydrate our skins, regardless of price.

Beauty experts also advise that we should avoid habituation because continual use of products may cause them to work less effectively. Therefore, it’s wise to occasionally change products and perhaps with each season change. The same products that rehydrate our dry skins in the summer for example, may also cause them to become greasy in the winter months.

The composition and quality of our skin naturally changes with age and therefore our skin care products also have to adjust with age. As children we have soft, very fragile skin. As we progress to our teens we need to switch to products depending on our skin type – normal, dry or oily. For all three types, some sort of hydration is necessary. The older we get, the drier our skin becomes and we therefore progress to richer moisturizers suited to our skin type.

For either sex, our daily skin care routine in the morning should start with a mild cleanser, followed by a moisturizing cream that is suitable to our age and the season. At night time, again, cleanse the skin and follow with a moisturizing night cream.

Can we really prevent aging? Some products claim to prevent and even remove wrinkles, and although some of these may be somewhat effective, skin aging is primarily due to our genes. There are other factors that can be taken into consideration though:

•Are we maintaining a healthy diet, getting enough nutrition, drinking enough water, eating enough fruits, etc?

•Have we been using enough UV protection? Are we exposing ourselves to too much sun or worse still, sun beds?

As well as the above, there are some things you can do to lessen the appearance of wrinkles and help prevent new ones from forming:

•Get into the routine mentioned previously i.e. removing the dirt from your skin twice daily with a mild cleanser.

•Treat yourself to a face spa twice per week, using an exfoliator and/or face mask for deeper cleansing.

•If you wear makeup, ensure you don’t use cosmetics that clog the pores.

•Moisture is essential in the fight against aging – when the skin is dry it is more susceptible to wrinkles, so always use a moisturizer on your face morning and night (make sure you use a moisturizer with UV protection when the sun is out).

•Stop drinking moisture-robbing sodas and instead drink water throughout the day instead.

•Drinking a little wine or beer has proven to provide some health benefits, however, an excess amount of alcohol in your body can rob it of the nutrients it needs to keep the skin healthy.

•Exercise is another essential key to naturally keeping the skin free of wrinkles. Exercise facilitates oxygen production and the release of toxins. This is essential to the condition of your skin because toxins that build up can damage both the epidermis and dermis layers of the skin, making it difficult to treat the skin.

•It goes without saying that if you smoke cigarettes you need to quit. Smoking cigarettes is the fastest way to develop wrinkles!

•And last but not least.. if you want an instant facelift.. keep on smiling! It’s free and highly effective!!

http://www.frulatte.com

A wonderful new range of face, body & hair care products made from plant and fruit extracts.. because eating fruits may not be enough!
