Influenza, commonly referred to as the flu, is an infectious disease caused by RNA viruses that infect the respiratory tract of many animals, birds, and humans.
Preventing it's spread was impossible in previous years, but these days we have many things to combat the illness. Flu shots are the main weapon, but information and communication are equally effective in reducing the flu's wrath. Years ago there were no medical innovations in preventing the flu as people were essentially helpless to prevent or cure the virus. Currently though, we have far less of a fear to fear from the flu virus than our predecessors had.

Clean Home, Clean Mind

I’ve always thought that cleaning is a great way for me to clear my mind. I just relax and get right into the task. For me, it’s a type of meditation; I simply stop thinking and focus into the here and now. Not only is it a great way for me to spend some time in the moment by myself, but I also get the reward of having a sparkling clean house at the end of it.
I’ve always enjoyed exercising. Whether I’m dancing, walking, doing yoga, or aerobics, I find activity to be a great stress reliever. This is why I love cleaning the house; it provides a great workout. Even if I don’t clean the entire house, on days when I’ve already exercised or find that I’m worn out, I’ll just spot clean (which requires very little energy). Wiping a counter space, or sweeping a dirty area of the floor can make a huge difference to how clean your house looks and feels.
