How to Remove Hard Thick Skin From Under The Soles Of Your Feet? Causes Symptoms & Callus Treatment
Posted on January 19, 2012
Have you got a problem with hard thick skin under the heels of your feet? Not only is pain a likely symptom if the skin is really thick, so is frustration. It can be a seriously annoying condition because no sooner do you get rid of hard crusty layers that have built up, the problem is back. If you have hard skin under the soles of your feet then it is less likely to return as quickly if it’s removed “properly”.
Why when no one can see the feet do they need to be cared for regular? Just because the feet sit snug inside shoes and not as often visible like other body parts, is more the reason to keep an eye on them.
Diabetes – Causes, Symptoms, Treatment
Posted on December 18, 2011
Diabetes disease is when the metabolism and sugar level in the body is disrupted from performing its normal function. People with diabetes have high glucose blood levels due to the lack of function of insulin which maintain low blood glucose levels. When the human body system fails to produce insulin this results in diabetes. Insulin is created in the pancreas.
Main Causes of Diabetes
Treatment
We know that diabetes develops as a result of your body’s cells not getting enough insulin (a hormone which helps convert blood sugar/glucose into energy). This is usually because your pancreas fails to generate enough insulin or because your body’s cells start to resist insulin. Although we know what leads to the development of diabetes we do not currently know why this happens in certain individuals and not others.
Anti-Aging Skin Care Treatment – Does Sunscreen Skin Care Really Work For Total Skin Protection?
Posted on July 14, 2011
I was reading an anti-aging skin care guide distributed by a cosmetic company, the other day. There was some good advice, but every anti-aging skin care treatment that they recommended was a product from their own line. I suppose that should not be surprising.
They did mention that UV radiation from the sun causes damage to your skin’s cellular structure. They said that was why their products contain sunscreen.
Skin Care
They failed to mention in their anti-aging skin care guide that UVA rays are the most harmful and that sunscreens only protect against burning, which is caused by UVB radiation. Sunscreen is commonly recommended in anti-aging skin care treatment.

Diagnostic Evaluation And Treatment For Depression
Posted on January 8, 2009
If a physical cause for the depression is ruled out, a psychological evaluation should be done, by the physician or by referral to a psychiatrist or psychologist.
A good diagnostic evaluation will include a complete history of symptoms, i.e., when they started, how long they have lasted, how severe they are, whether the patient had them before and, if so, whether the symptoms were treated and what treatment was given. The doctor should ask about alcohol and drug use, and if the patient has thoughts about death or suicide. Further, a history should include questions about whether other family members have had a depressive illness and, if treated, what treatments they may have received and which were effective.
